Hello! I'm Pastor Walt, and I'm glad you're visiting us! The very first thing I want to ask of you as you visit our site and our church is simple: relax. You’re with friends.
Even if you’ve never been in church before, you’ll have no worries about being flagged as a “newbie.” Or finding yourself “volunteered” to make seven dozen cookies for the first grade class.
Or obligated to take the pastor fishing (unless you really WANT to).
What you will find is this:
- a casual atmosphere
- friendly people who’ll help you find your way around
- today’s music, along with creative media and drama presentations
- messages that are biblical and relevant to your daily life
- awesome children's programs
- that you matter to God – as well as to us here at HVCC.
Whether you’re single, married, single again, with or without children – no matter where you’ve been or what you’ve done – we invite you to come experience what God has in store for your life as we grow togehter in Him.
When you do visit our church, please find me after the service and introduce yourself. I really do want to meet you and welcome you personally to consider how you might fit in with what God wants to so here in our part of Lake County!
